Rick Baker - President/CEO

Rick has been with the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association for thirty years. He became Director of Marketing in 1988 before becoming President in 1992. Rick received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Scranton in 1977 and his Masters of Education from Ohio University in 1979. Rick is a native of Millerton, Pennsylvania and first came to Dallas in 1979 to work for SMU. In 1986, he was named the Director of the NCAA Men's Final Four Basketball Tournament. He is married to Patti and they have a dog named Winston.

Carly Engel

Carly graduated with a degree in hospitality from the University of Florida. She was a volunteer with the Gator Football team as a Gator Football Ambassador and was also the Gator Football Administrative Intern under the Director of Football Administration. She worked two years for the University of Florida Athletic Association as an Operations Assistant for various sports. Carly is a native to San Diego, CA. This will be her second Classic.

Charlie Fiss - VP of Communications

Charlie’s first Cotton Bowl was in 1985 when he served as the Assistant Director of Media Relations for the Southwest Conference from 1984-1993. In July 1993, Charlie was hired by the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association to serve as its fulltime VP of Communications. Through his 33 years, he has worked with six Heisman Trophy winners. Charlie is a graduate of the University of Arkansas where he served as a Men’s Media Assistant from 1976-1980, and then as the Women’s Director of Media Relations from 1980-1984. As an avid racehorse fan, Charlie has volunteered at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby for the past 31 years. Charlie is a native of Springdale, Arkansas.

Lisa Fortenberry - Pageantry Director

Lisa will celebrate her 32nd Cotton Bowl Classic this year. She became the Pageantry Director in 2007. Lisa was a member of the Kilgore College Rangerettes and then completed college at North Texas State where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business and Communications. Lisa's prior employment includes Mike Miller & Associates SPECIAL EVENTS and NCA SUPERSTAR. She currently co-owns a summer dance company Encore Creative Productions. Lisa is a native of Dallas, TX where she lives with her Yorkie, Dixie Belle.

Kelly Hembree - VP of Creative & Guest Services

Kelly is a 2008 University of Texas graduate with a degree in Kinesiology and Sport Management. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Student Assistant for Football Operations and Recruiting. As part of her studies in Sport Management, she was an intern for the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association in the fall of 2007. This will be Kelly's twelfth year with the Cotton Bowl. She is a native of Carrollton, Texas.

Michael Konradi - CMO

Michael graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism in 1999. He started his career with the Big 12 Conference as the Assistant Media Relations Director from 1999-2001. When he started with the Cotton Bowl in 2002, he was the Director of Marketing and Communications and in 2006 he was promoted to the position of Vice President of External Affairs. He became the Classic's CMO in the spring of 2015. Michael is a native of Dallas, Texas. He is married to Wendy and they have two children, Camden and Carrigan.

Cherise Lee

Cherise graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with degrees in Journalism and Sport Management. While in school, she worked for the women's basketball team as a student assistant. This will be Cherise's second Cotton Bowl. She is a native of Fort Worth, Texas.

Cathy Luetje - Media Operations Manager

Cathy volunteered at her first Cotton Bowl game in 1992 and officially joined the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association staff in May 2016. In addition to her years of volunteering at sporting events, Cathy has extensive experience as an event coordinator and producer in corporate business meetings and satellite communications industries. She also spent 17 years as producer/director for the Jumbotron video crew at Texas Stadium. Cathy grew up in Springdale, Arkansas. She is married to Paul and they have a chocolate lab named Carob.

Marty MacInnis - COO/CFO

Marty joined the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association in 1989 as the Ticket Manager and in 1991 he was promoted to his current position. He attended Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, for his undergrad and earned his Masters of Sports Administration from Ohio University in 1984. Marty started his professional career, holding several positions within the SMU ticket office from 1984-1989. His is a native of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia Canada. This will be Marty's 29th Cotton Bowl game. He is married to Paula and they have two sons, Matthew and Alex.

Nancy Mills - VP of Executive Services

Nancy joined the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association in 1998 as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. During her time with the Cotton Bowl, she has held many positions and most recently was promoted to Vice President of Executive Services. Before joining the Cotton Bowl, she was a legal secretary for eleven years in Texas, Wisconsin and California. Nancy is a native of Dallas. She is married to John and they have four daughters, Alicia, Jennifer, Megan and Hannah and two grandchildren.

Amy Scott - VP of Ticket Sales and Services

Amy received her bachelor's and master's degree from Texas Tech University. During her undergrad, Amy worked as a Media Relations Assistant for the Texas Tech Athletic Department. Amy is from Llano, Texas and is married to Landry. They have a son, Mason.

David Hooks Waller - Director of Digital Marketing and Communications

David graduated from Texas Tech University in 2012 with degrees in business management and mass communications. He joined the Cotton Bowl staff in 2012 as the ticket operations manager. David is a native of Albany, Texas. He is married to Courtney and they have a son, Graham.
