Pat Green to Perform at Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic Fan Fest
The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic announced today that Grammy-nominated Texas-country artist Pat Green will perform postgame as part of the Goodyear Huddle Up Fan Fest on January 2nd, 2017.
“The Party on the Plaza with Pat Green” is free with a Goodyear Cotton Bowl game ticket and will take place on the main stage in the Miller Lite Plaza (West Plaza) at AT&T Stadium. The show begins 20 minutes after the conclusion of the 81st Classic.
“When you think of Texas-country, you think of Pat Green, “ Rick Baker, President/CEO of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic said. “He is one of the most nationally recognized voices to come out of Texas, and we are thrilled to have him help us celebrate the New Year at the Classic.”
After rising through Texas’ college-town and dancehall scene years ago, Green earned himself major-label support in Nashville and became the poster child of Texas music for a whole generation of fans. His list of achievement includes over 2 million albums sold, three Grammy nominations and 15 singles that have charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
Once the concert is over, fans are encouraged to stay and watch the Rose Bowl presented by Northwestern Mutual on the large video boards in the Miller Lite Plaza or the many televisions located inside the Miller Lite Corral. Also, attendees will have access to great food, drinks and interactive sponsor activations in the plaza as part of the Goodyear Huddle Up Fan Fest.
