AT&T COTTON BOWL USHERS IN NEW COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF ERA WITH A SELL OUT!

ARLINGTON, August 13, 2014 — The AT&T Cotton Bowl announced today that the 79th Classic scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at AT&T Stadium is officially sold out.
The 2015 AT&T Cotton Bowl marks the sixth year the Classic has been played in AT&T Stadium which has generated four of the top five crowds in the game’s history. Since the game’s move in 2010, the Classic has sold out each year in AT&T Stadium.
“You can sense the excitement from our passionate fan base,” Amy Scott, VP of Ticket Sales & Services said. “Ever since the Cotton Bowl was announced as a member of the ‘New Year’s Six’ as part of the College Football Playoff, we’ve been inundated with emails and calls from eager season-ticket holders and those that want on our wait list.”
The 2015 Classic returns to its traditional spot on New Year’s Day and is the lead-in to the Rose Bowl presented by Northwestern Mutual and Allstate Sugar Bowl, the two College Football Playoff semifinals this season. The Classic will be one of the semifinal sites in 2015-16.
The AT&T Cotton Bowl is making the move to ESPN for the national telecast. The teams will be announced by the new College Football Playoff Selection Committee on Sunday, Dec. 7.
