Oklahoma State Puts In Crisp Practice on Day Three of AT&T Cotton Bowl Week
EULESS, Texas – Arriving a day early to prepare for the 78th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic has helped Oklahoma State regain its sharpness, Head Coach Mike Gundy said Sunday after the team completed its third practice since reporting Friday. The team worked two hours in full pads.
The 13th-ranked Cowboys (10-2, 7-2 Big 12) have improved with each practice after a short layoff to be with family over Christmas. The sessions at Trinity High School have been closed to the public and media, and concentration has returned quickly as the Pokes get ready for their opponent, eighth-ranked Missouri (11-2, 7-2 SEC).
Tigers Take to the Turf at AT&T Stadium for Initial Cotton Bowl Practice
Arlington – The No. 8 Missouri Tigers shook off the rust of the holidays with a spirited 90-minute practice in the team’s first workout at AT&T Stadium for the 78th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
Mizzou (11-2, 7-1 Southeastern Conference) worked on all three phases in short and shoulder pads as the team continued to narrow its focus towards its post-New Year’s date with the No. 13 Oklahoma State Cowboys (10-2, 7-2 Big 12 Conference). Head coach Gary Pinkel said the Tigers’ attention to detail will need to be sharp as his squad gets ready for a primetime showdown in front of a capacity crowd.

Missouri Arrives in North Texas for the 78th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic
The tale of the 2013 season for the No. 8 Missouri Tigers begins its final chapter as the team descended on North Texas today for the 78th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
Mizzou's official travel party, including approximately 50 players, coaches, support staff, athletic administrators and their families, arrived mid-afternoon at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas after flying from Columbia on a charter flight. The remaining 70-plus players met the team at the hotel, arriving individually via private vehicles.
